When my mother told me about it in this morning’s newspaper; I was annoyed at the fact that they had pulled a “race card” out to try and prove their son’s innocence. I spend most of my time on the internet and if they really want to come down to brass tax; I can find another case similar- but more abusive of a white man by the name of James Fiengo; who viciously crushed a cat’s jaw, ringing the by it’s tail or head and slapping the cat as he done so in March 2013.
James Fiengo was arrested for animal abuse. Not a single person cried he was arrested because he was WHITE.
I, my self, tend think it’s not about RACE; it’s about animals and animal rights and abuse. Anyone with enough common sense would understand that even if your friends and you self think it might be “funny” to kick a poor defenseless animal into the air; in reality – if you have any morals – you know it is wrong to do.
As a final thought; I think that Andre Robinson needs to learn how to have some respect for animal. I know a good documentary called "Earthlings” he could watch in which explains in depth why animal abuse is wrong and shows a massive amount of animal abuse in the world today. It is enough to make some one like me ashamed of even eating.
I am the proud owner of one cat, one parakeet, one gerbil and about twenty larder beetles. Instead of pulling out EXCUSES for what you did; how about not doing it? Because once you start being unappreciative and abusive towards animals and even humans you are no better then the rest of the population who viciously causes harm to animals. Whether is be a “joke” or not; bottom line- it’s still wrong.
My Mother said:
I used to tell a joke to my friends.
It was about an exterminator and he was a very good man. He went to church, gave to charity and had a wonderful family. He was very good at his job and especially enjoyed killing cockroaches. He laughed and made jokes about killing the cockroaches and lived a very long life.
When it was time to meet God Almighty; he was sure he would make it to heaven. An angel called out his name and he proudly walked up to the angel as the angel directed him to go through the white doors. Inside was so beautiful. There was some delicious food, honey, wine and the water of life as the exterminator stood in awe.
Suddenly; the exterminator heard a woman’s scream and he looked around. There, standing over him, was a gigantic cockroach and she screamed again “ewww a human!” then immediately stomped on him and squashed him to a pulp.
Andre; I told you this because I think you should examine yourself and understand that enjoying violence against God’s lesser creations doesn’t mean God doesn’t care about them. Andre, God saw what you and your friends did.
The great God, our creator, didn’t say to torture my creations. God gave us to the right to eat meat if we choose; but not to make them suffer. God is watching everything we all do, including me. It doesn’t matter what color, or sex, or religion we are; what is wrong… is wrong. Have better days.
